Optomesh® MacroPore / ThinLight

Surgical meshes Optomesh® are made of high quality monofilament polypropylene yarns.The family of Optomesh® surgical meshes can be categorised as ‘light’ meshes, which means that they are characterised by minimal quantity of implanted synthetic material, good fixing and physiologically optimal construction.They are used for surgical treatment of hernias according to the localisation, the restoration of soft tissue defects in any type of hernioplastica including combined and endoscopic methods.

 

Optomesh® MacroPore — surgical mesh with big macropores; high porosity enables good penetration of macrophages, fibroblasts, blood vessels (angiogenesis) and collagen fibres, which induces low tissue reaction and shortens healing-in time; that’s why after the implantation the meshes Optomesh® MacroPore create soft not stiff postoperative scar.

 

Optomesh® ТhinLight — thin, light meshes with the standard size of pores; characterised by optimal mechanical parameters including shape memory. Low thickness, small quantity of synthetic material and high bursting strength positively influence long term functionality of the implant.
