Modern protective clothing is to provide protection for both the patient and medical staff against microorganisms and infections. Such elements as caps, face masks, gowns or gloves should constitute an efficient barrier for microorganisms, preventing them from getting into places endangered with infections. These products protect rooms requiring absolute cleanliness from dirt brought in on shoes, contaminations such as exfoliated epidermis or hair of the medical stuff, and also comprise one of the basic groups of products of individual protection. They protect both the user and the people nearby against infections with microorganisms transmitted in blood and other surgical fluids.
