Nonwoven swabs Matovlies

Concerning the basis weight we distinguish swabs made of 30g and 40g nonwoven.

Concerning the number of layers we divide the swabs into:

• 4-ply
• 8-ply
• 12-ply

Extra advantage of the Matovlies swabs is the possibility to cut the nonwoven material without extraction of any free fibres. 

The swabs are available in sterile and non sterile version.

A particular type of Matovlies swabs are tracheotomy swabs made of swab nonwoven with 'O'- or 'Y'-shaped cut. They are designed to protect tracheotomy tubes, catheters or other types of needle insertions.

Additionally we offer swabs with X-ray detectable thread, which are used while surgical interventions.
